The Air Conditioning, Heating and Refrigeration Instructor teaches credit courses within the Air Conditioning, Refrigeration Associates Degree Program as part of an instructional team at the Innovative Manufacturing Education Center on the Central Campus in Janesville. Instruction is provided utilizing flexible formats that meet the educational needs of students, business and industry. This position collaborates with employers, provides oversight of program part-time (adjunct) faculty, and is a member of the Manufacturing, Apprenticeship, Technology and Transportation (MATT) Division faculty.
Position will plan and teach traffic safety curriculum to include the areas of Group Dynamics and Multiple Offender Program. Related duties include classroom facilitation; participation in division and department activities, Department of Transportation Mandatory Instructor biannual meeting, and the performance of duties as assigned.
Blackhawk Technical College is seeking a part-time Instructor in the Dental Assistant program. Candidates must have a background in and current knowledge of dental assisting, the specific subjects they are teaching, and educational theory and methodology consistent with teaching assignment (e.g., curriculum development, educational psychology, test construction, measurement, and evaluation). This position will provide laboratory instruction to dental assistant students in the Dental Radiography Advanced courses.
Blackhawk Technical College is seeking candidates to instruct fitness classes within our Fire Technician program. The fitness instructor is responsible for establishing and maintaining a fitness program to prepare students to serve in the role of a Firefighter/EMT crew member. The four major goals are to improve strength, work output, endurance, and teaching lifelong fitness and movement skills. The instructor develops training plans, supervises training sessions, evaluates performance/movement, and maintains performance records.
Blackhawk Technical College is seeking candidates to instruct within our Nursing Assistant Program. Candidates may be asked to provide instruction on any of Blackhawk Technical College campuses and/or community partners and clinical sites.
Blackhawk Technical College is currently seeking to engage Part-time Nursing Instructors into our Associate Degree of Nursing Program. Class assignments and locations may vary from term to term. The instructor may be asked to teach at various clinical sites within the district.
Under the direction of the Fire & EMS Coordinator, this part-time instructional position will provide instruction to non credit AHA classes. Duties include teaching assigned courses to emergency responders in on and off campus locations.
Position will provide instruction to the Truck Driving program by assisting with over the road, practice range, and classroom experiences associated with corporate driver training, continuing education and all students taking truck driving related coursework. The instructor must demonstrate a proficiency in skills as they relate to the operations of Class A (CDL-A) commercial vehicles and straight truck Commercial Driver’s License and Class B (CDL-B).
