The Computer Numeric Control Instructor teaches credit courses within the Computer Numeric Control (CNC) Technician Diploma program at the at the Innovation in Manufacturing Education Center (I-MEC) on the Central Campus in Janesville. Courses will be taught in the Blackboard learning management system platform in a lab environment to meet the needs of this growing industry. Instructors need to lead courses that engage and prepare students for careers in their area of study. Instruction is provided utilizing flexible formats that meet the educational needs of students, business and industry. This position collaborates with employers and is a member of the Manufacturing, Apprenticeship, Technology and Transportation (MATT) Division faculty. This position teaches courses in the areas of study including Computer Numerical Control (CNC) programming; Computer Assisted Manufacturing (CAM) software; precision measuring devices including a CMM; precision CNC mills, and precision CNC turning; blueprint reading.
Position is a LTE instructional assignment for the 24-25 Academic Year.
